What is chlorophyll?

Under natural conditions, the ratio of chlorophylls corresponds to the proportion of 3 (chlorophyll-A): 1 (chlorophyll-B). Together they make up the green pigment.

Both types of chlorophyll are fat soluble components. This means that foods rich in these substances must be supplemented with a small amount of fat. The synthetic form, although soluble in water, requires fats to completely absorb the beneficial substance.
